This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract, predominantly working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. Start and finish times can be flexible.
Salary and benefits: salary up to £32,000.00 per annum, 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Benefits include a company-sponsored pension scheme, Bootsworks, and a 24-hour GP service.
What you’ll do on a typical day
* Manage and support the full range of HR activities within the Employee Lifecycle such as onboarding, promotions and exits.
* Provide full HR support for a client group within the Technical Services Division.
* Provide people advisory support to managers and employees on a wide range of people-related topics including employee relations and performance management.
* Assist in investigating and resolving people relations issues.
* Coach managers across all levels.
* Manage and support HR Systems including Time & Attendance through to Payroll.
What you need to succeed
* A proven track record as an HR advisor in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy/practice and employee relations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-standing working relationships.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or demonstrable working experience.
