Job Title: Senior Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist to join the new Infected Blood Psychological Service (IBPS). This service supports individuals infected or affected by contaminated blood products. The Care Navigator will be the first point of contact, ensuring a positive experience for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and interventions
2. Create and implement care plans
3. Assess risks and signpost to other services and agencies
4. Lead outreach programmes and establish mechanisms for peer support
5. Collaborate with IBPS Clinical Psychologists and the national network of Care Navigators
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference and support the recommendations of the Infected Blood Inquiry.
The position is based within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT) Psychological Medicine Service at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, hosted by the Addenbrooke's Haemophilia Centre.
CPFT provides a range of Psychological Medicine Services across multiple hospitals, including Addenbrooke's, Royal Papworth, Peterborough City, Stamford, and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals. Our services are highly rated for quality and excellence.
