Job Title: Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Maldon Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Providing tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Creating individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each student Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to enhance understanding and retention Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborating with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing appropriate learning plans Working Conditions: Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries Potential travel to different locations within the East of England region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
