A respected Tier 2 contractor with a strong pipeline of retail and commercial work is seeking a talented Project Surveyor to join its growing team in Sittingbourne, Kent. The Role
You will play a key commercial role across multiple retail-led projects, ensuring robust financial management from pre-construction through to final account. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing subcontractor procurement and package administration
2. Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
3. Supporting main contract administration and commercial compliance
4. Conducting measurements, take-offs, and cost analysis
5. Working closely with project teams to support successful delivery
6. Assisting in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial reviews
7. Building and maintaining strong client and supply chain relationships
About You
8. Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Surveyor within construction
9. Retail project experience is strongly preferred
10. Strong commercial and contractual understanding
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
12. Ability to manage your workload confidently and independently
13. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to high-quality delivery
