Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? A growing multidisciplinary consultancy, based in Sevenoaks, is seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects across the South East, with a strong focus on highways, drainage, and SuDS design.
The Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
* Lead and deliver civil engineering designs for highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
* Develop surface water management strategies and SuDS designs.
* Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
* Manage project delivery, budgets, and client communication.
* Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
* Liaise with local authorities, utility companies, and key stakeholders.
* Contribute to BIM and digital design development where applicable.
About You
You will ideally have:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Chartered or working toward CEng / IEng status (ICE or equivalent).
* Strong experience in highways and drainage design (Section 38/104/278).
* Proficiency with industry software such as MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Civil 3D, PDS, or similar.
* A solid understanding of SuDS principles and current UK design standards.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
