Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)
Start date: September 2026

GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sittingbourne from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Social Care Teacher or a confident ECT looking to develop their career within a welcoming and ambitious school community.
The successful Health & Social Care Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons that inspire students to develop a strong understanding of health, social care, and the wider care sector. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential while developing valuable life skills and career awareness.
The ideal Health & Social Care Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the Health & Social Care curriculum
* The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing
