Job Overview
To provide essential support in managing procurement operations for raw materials, ensuring timely and accurate execution of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier communication. The role balances administrative precision with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and procurement projects.
Your day-to-day will involve raising and following up purchase orders, managing supplier quotations, and acting as the main contact for our raw material suppliers. It's a role that requires accuracy and organisation but also gives you space to take ownership of projects and improve the way we work.
You'll work closely with our Procurement Manager and gain exposure to supplier management, ERP (Microsoft Business Central), and procurement reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude who wants to grow their career in procurement.
Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain supplier quotations and pricing records.
· Support creation, processing, and follow-up of purchase orders (especially MRP-generated).
· Act as the day-to-day point of contact for raw material suppliers, chasing acknowledgements, confirmations, and delivery dates.
· Ensure procurement data accuracy in Microsoft Business Central (BC).
· Monitor lead times and flag risks to Procurement Manager.
· Assist with procurement reporting and dashboards.
· Support procurement-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
KPIs
· Timeliness and accuracy of PO processing.
· Supplier responsiveness and on-time confirmations.
· Quality of procurement data and reporting.
· Contribution to process improvement projects.
What you need to be successful:
· Experience in procurement, sustainability, or supply chain support roles.
· Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and certifications (FSC, RSPO) desirable.
· Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of Microsoft Business Central preferred.
· Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· Self-motivated and able to work across multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
