Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic — Mayfair. Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on.
Responsibilities
* Provide roadside assistance to RAC members, diagnosing and resolving issues on a variety of roadside scenarios.
* Manage your own kit, keep your RAC van stocked, and handle reports with precision.
* Work shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and rostered hours are confirmed in advance.
* Operate with calm under pressure and communicate effectively to support members and colleagues.
What you’ll need
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary
What we offer
* Strong base pay – £53,720 a year (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance if applicable), with bonuses and overtime taking you up to £58,000
