Inside Sales Manager
Location: Portsmouth
A growing, specialist electronics and engineering solutions business is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead the development of its inside sales capability.
Operating in technically complex markets, the company is entering a new phase of growth and is investing in building a more structured and scalable commercial function.
The opportunity
This is a key hire with responsibility for bringing together multiple inside sales teams into a single, aligned function. You will play a central role in improving customer experience, enabling sales effectiveness and supporting revenue growth.
The role offers the chance to influence how the commercial organisation operates, with real ownership over process, structure and team development.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the inside sales team
* Align previously siloed teams into one cohesive function
* Improve CRM usage, quotation processes and sales workflows
* Enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting visibility
* Drive consistency across locations and business units
* Support regional sales teams by taking ownership of smaller opportunities
* Introduce scalable processes and improve efficiency
* Help define the future structure of inside sales and sales operations

* Background in technical, engineering or electronics sectors is advantageous
