Cala Homes Southern Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced, and proactive Planning Manager to join a successful planning team. The role requires a forward-thinking, proactive approach which is essential to the Planning function from land bid stage through to securing planning permission. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding business who build a high-quality product in aspirational locations. You will organise, attend and present at pre-application discussion meetings which is essential to the Planning function in working up and proactively driving planning applications through the planning system. You will submit, monitor and discharge planning conditions. About You Deadline driven, you must be reliable and flexible and able to act on your own initiative. It is essential to the Planning function that you will also provide expert knowledge on current government legislation and planning policy and offer well considered appraisals on the planning prospects of potential sites. You will be required to manage the region’s current large scale development projects to ensure all development control matters, including planning obligations, conditions and phased reserved matters applications are carefully planned.
