Description
The Finance Manager will have a wide range of duties including:
* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Prepare and present financial statements to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Prepare month-end and year-end closing processes effectively.
* Manage cash flow and monitor expenditure against budgets.
* Process and manage the day to day transactional accounting duties including processing payments, bank reconciliations, credit control, VAT returns, posting journals.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* Relevant hands on experience in accounting, particularly within a small organisation
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
* Experience working within the construction industry is an advantage.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools.
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
