Leicester - £30k-£35k basic | £55k OTE
We're looking for a recruiter who enjoys complex searches, values depth over volume, and is eager to work closely with clients who expect a thoughtful and consultative approach.

Within the Perm division, we focus on placing high-level consultants into engineering consultancies across manufacturing, food, aviation, electronics and other technically demanding sectors.
What You'll Recruit:
Specialist and high-impact roles, including:
Electrical Engineers
Compliance Consultants
Engineering Safety Consultants
Forensic Specialists
Materials Engineers
Explosives Consultants
Typical salaries range from £60k-£90k, with fees averaging £10k-£20k.
This is search-led recruitment, built on accuracy, depth, and credibility — not volume.
Your Day-to-Day:
You'll manage a full, end-to-end search process:
Building strong relationships with clients and understanding how each operates
Running detailed job-intake and onboarding conversations
Conducting structured search work using LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and targeted headhunting
Interviewing candidates thoroughly
Managing retained assignments and delivering to agreed timelines
Developing your own patch within a long-established market with warm clients ready to engage
Who We're Looking For:
Experience in a white-collar search or specialist recruitment market or
A solid recruitment foundation and the desire to step into a more technical, consultative environment
You should be comfortable dealing with detail, confident speaking with technical professionals, and motivated by building a long-term career rather than simply filling roles.
Earning Potential: With established retained clients and strong average fees, a realistic first-year OTE is around £55k.
