Our client is embarking on the construction of two solar parks totaling 100 MW in Fife, and they need a dedicated HSSE Representative to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, security, and environment are maintained throughout this ambitious project! Your Role: As the Clients HSSE Representative, you will play a vital role in overseeing the health, safety, and environmental aspects of this project. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the Clients HSSE representative, ensuring EPC HSSE plans, CPP, RAMS, CEMP, CTMP, and supporting documents comply with permit, contractual requirements, and local legal regulations. Monitoring compliance with legal requirements, permit conditions, and HSE plans during construction. Conducting weekly site inspections in collaboration with the EPC and documenting findings on internal systems. Processing HSSE performance reports weekly and monthly, providing feedback to enhance project HSSE goals. Collaborating with the EPC and other contractors during design documentation reviews. Attending weekly HSSE meetings with the EPC to monitor progress on HSSE issues. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with site requirements and processes. Requirements: To thrive in this role, you will need: A thorough understanding of UK HSSE legislation, with expertise in construction (CDM) topics. Experience in civils, site management, low and high voltage electrical construction, and commissioning. A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Client's HSSE Manager or Representative in similar industries, preferably in solar construction. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Availability: Initial onboarding and training 2-3 days per week starting no later than March 14, 2026, with the possibility of remote work. From April 2026, at least 1 day per week on-site to coordinate with the EPC and Client Site Manager. Once both projects are under construction (July 2026 - March 2027), expect 1 visit per week for each site, with a potential increase to 3-4 days per week. Why Join Us?
