About the Opportunity
Bolt Technical are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, fire and security specialist.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a close-knit and professional team, delivering high-quality service across a range of commercial and high-profile sites. The role offers a strong mix of independence and team collaboration, with opportunities for training, progression, and occasional UK and international travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on:
* Fire alarm systems
* Intruder alarms
* CCTV systems (analogue & IP)
* Access control systems
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across fire and security systems
* Work independently on customer sites and occasionally as part of a team
* Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations
* Accurately complete service reports and documentation using mobile devices
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 10, after initial onboarding period)
What Theyre Looking For
* Proven experience in the fire and/or security industry
* Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across fire and security systems
* Good understanding of CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Full UK driving licence
