A leading insurance brokerage is seeking a Client Adviser to join its expanding SME team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a first-class, end-to-end service to SME clients, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a high-quality, proactive service to existing and prospective SME clients.
* Manage the full broking process including new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including Claims and Broking, to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
* Ensure compliance with all operational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain accurate client records and manage invoicing using internal systems.
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer leads to the appropriate internal teams.
* Commit to personal development and maintain relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Qualifications:
* Cert CII qualified or working towards.
Experience:
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance.
* Proven experience delivering exceptional service in a client-facing role.
Skills:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and administrative capabilities.
* Confident in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and insurance software (experience with Acturis is an advantage).
* Good understanding of broking processes and FCA compliance standards.
