We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated North American Casualty Claims Specialist to join the London-based claims team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading broker, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with complex casualty claims across the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of North American casualty claims, including General Liability and Excess/Umbrella claims
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers, and legal representatives
* Provide expert guidance on claims strategy, coverage interpretation, and reserving
* Monitor claims progress, ensuring timely updates and resolution
* Negotiate settlements where appropriate and support dispute resolution processes
* Analyse claims data to identify trends and provide risk management insights to clients
* Collaborate with broking teams to deliver a seamless client service
Key Requirements
* Proven experience handling North American casualty claims within a broker or insurer
* Strong technical knowledge of US liability claims and litigation processes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage complex claims with a proactive and solution-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* ACII qualification (or working towards) is desirable
