About the service:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Senior Cardiac Physiologist who’s ready for the next step to be a Cardiac Services Manager to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital based in the outskirts of Truro, Cornwall. The Cardiology Department offers a variety of outpatient clinics and diagnostic testing for both inpatients and outpatients.
Our lab provides a range of procedures including elective angiography, PCI, device implantation, Cardioversion, and Transoesophageal echocardiography. The lab is undergoing a full refurbishment, which will allow for further development of the range of PCI procedures including Rotablation and shockwave.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior Cardiac Physiologist who’s ready to take on the challenge of working as a Cardiac Services Manager in a highly reputable company with state-of-the-art facilities.
You will be working as a Cardiac Services Manager and will be responsible for:
* Daily management of the Cardiology Service
* Managing capacity and demand, ordering stock and invoicing receipting high-cost consumables
* Dealing with consultant queries and supporting the clinical members of the team.
* Assist during the full range of cardiac procedures undertaken within the outpatient setting and the angiography suite
* Deliver an outstanding level of care
* Ability to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage the team
Who we’re looking for;
* BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is a necessity for the role
* Valid RCCP/AHCS with no restitution or convictions
* 5 years experience as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist
* Able to demonstrate previous management experience.
