Food Production Operatives (Bakery)
We are currently recruiting experienced Food Production Operatives (Bakery) for one of our well-established Client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Main Duties
* Supporting with bread and rolls production
* Slicing, stacking, and packing products
* Working on the production line
* Operating machinery such as bread slicers
* Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards
Shifts
The role involves rotating across all three shifts.
* AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
* PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Sunday to Friday)
* Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Sunday to Friday)
8‑hour shifts, 20‑minute unpaid break, working 5–6 days per week, approx. 40 hours per week.
£12.21/hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Baking a variety of Polish breads and confectionery items
* Assisting on the production line
* Operating bakery machinery
Requirements
* Proven experience as a baker or within a food production environment (overseas experience is welcome)
* Ability to carry out heavy lifting
* Good understanding of food hygiene standards
