Management Accountant – 40-45k depending on experience – Winsford based
As a Management Accountant at SRL Traffic Systems, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate monthly accounts, maintaining robust financial controls, and overseeing core transactional processes. You'll support operational teams with clear financial insight, helping them understand performance and costs. This hands‑on role as a Management Accountant suits someone organised, detail‑focused, proactive, and confident communicating financial information in a clear, practical way within a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
* Management and review of employee expenses to ensure correct coding, policy compliance, and timely posting.
* Maintenance of financial controls around cash, journals, and ledger accuracy.
* Production of accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
* Providing support for year-end processes and external audits through reconciliations and evidence provision.
* Making recommendations to improve financial processes, controls, and system usage.
You will:
* Be confident in using finance systems, with Sage 200 knowledge an advantage.
* AAT qualified or CIMA part qualified
* Possess strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas.
* Have a high level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Be a clear communicator with the ability to explain financial information to operational teams.
* Have a proactive approach with a focus on improving processes and controls.
* Competent to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
* Be based in commutable distance to Winsford.
