About The Role:
You will monitor the performance of Drinking Water Services assets through data collection, assessment, and analysis. Your responsibilities include assisting in planned maintenance and capital improvements, and promoting improvements to ensure a reliable water supply network that meets customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure health and safety are prioritized in all asset works, following our Homesafe principles.
* Collaborate with various teams and third-party suppliers to develop work programmes aligned with strategic maintenance goals.
* Plan and organize resources to meet operational outcomes.
* Complete complex RAMS documents for network activities, including trunk main repairs and installations.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as the New Roads and Streetworks Act and Traffic Management Act.
* Liaise with stakeholders including developers, environmental agencies, and community groups to minimize work impact.
* Support Drinking Water Services during emergencies and participate in standby duties.
Candidate Requirements:
* 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent, including Maths, English, and Science, or relevant health & safety qualifications.
* Experience in water distribution operations and management.
* Technical knowledge of water network operations, maintenance, and hydraulics.
* Proficiency with MS Office and other relevant systems.
* Surveying and map reading skills.
* Resilience and adaptability to change.
* Full UK drivers license.
