Housing Development Officer

About the role:
The Development Officer will identify and assess properties for use as temporary homeless accommodation. Working collaboratively with Housing Communities and Housing Quality Teams, they will evaluate suitability, design potential, and planning feasibility. The role involves engaging with statutory services, conducting financial viability assessments, and producing detailed reports to support decision-making. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, appropriate, and cost-effective temporary housing solutions across Powys.
