About Our Client

Job Description
* Completing maintenance to an excellent standard, whilst ensuring any items needing rectification are either immediately repaired or logged and scheduled for revisiting.
* Operate with safety in mind at all times, dynamically risk-assessing all jobs to ensure safety of oneself and others.
* Build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from all departments, ensuring strong bonds with operational teams and supporting them where possible.
* Monitor site performance to ensure effective operation, understanding terms like availability and performance, and utilizing various means to measure these.
* Be proactive and dynamic with timekeeping, providing value to customers within working hours and seeking continuous improvement.
* Create documentation for major breakdowns/outages using root cause analysis and best practices.
* Support site maintenance budgets by working with a no-waste approach and repairing/testing replaced equipment for future use where possible.
* Maintain administrative records such as CMMS updates and shift reports to high standards.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 3 Banks of 3 on Days 06:00-18:00, 1 Bank of 4 on nights (12 Days 4 Nights)
The Successful Applicant
An experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance/Automation Engineer, ideally from a warehouse/logistics background, with:
* A recognised qualification in Engineering.
* Understanding of PLC & SCADA systems is desirable.
* Proficiency in automation software and programming languages.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A detail-oriented mindset focused on quality and efficiency.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
