Responsibilities
* Write clear, maintainable and well-documented code.
* Debug and optimize your code at a low and high level to ensure optimal performance and quality.
* Assess and communicate the potential impacts of a code change.
* Participate actively in code reviews.
* Work within a cross-discipline team on the development of various game features – mostly related to core gameplay mechanics and usability.
* Test newly implemented features carefully and suggest improvements.
What we're looking for / Qualifications
* You have at least 10 years of experience writing clear and maintainable code.
* You have prior gameplay programming experience on at least one shipped game.
* You have prior experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5 on networking/online multiplayer games.
* You have a solid understanding of client/server architectures in Unreal Engine.
* You are comfortable programming in C++.
* You enjoy solving challenging technical problems and delivering effective solutions.
* You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* You thrive in environments of change and can adapt to evolving needs and requirements.
Nice to have
* Experience with cross-platform and live games.
