GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join one of our client schools in Market Harborough. This role offers a flexible opportunity for educators to work across various key stages. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher looking for experience or an experienced educator seeking variety, this position provides the chance to deliver engaging lessons while fostering a positive learning environment.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students in their learning journey. The role requires a dynamic approach to teaching and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
* Adapt teaching methods to cater to the needs of students across different age groups and abilities.
* Provide feedback to students and contribute to their academic progress.
* Collaborate with school staff to maintain a cohesive educational experience.
Qualifications for a Supply Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
* Previous classroom experience is preferred but not essential.
* A current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
