Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Manage food production processes, including portion control and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Innovate new recipes and improve existing ones to enhance the dining experience.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a culinary setting (South Indian).
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
* Proficient cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts.
* Extensive kitchen experience, preferably within a restaurant environment.
* Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Experience in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Strong leadership qualities, capable of guiding a diverse team effectively.
