Financial Administrator
Location: The Springs Care Home, Spring Lane, Malvern WR14 1AL.
Salary: £27,198.00 - £34,634.50 depending on experience and qualifications.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). Welcome bonus: £1,000.
Responsibilities
* Use bespoke software to raise invoices, process income including cash allocation, complete banking and take appropriate action in relation to debt management.
* Liaise with Local and Health Authorities to ensure appropriate information and payment is received.
* Ensure correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions is provided and recorded for all admissions.
* Safeguard monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home, recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements.
* Administer purchasing and supplier payments, manage petty cash transactions and replenishment.
* Process employee-related information and payroll to ensure staff information and payments are accurate and timely.
* Provide clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting.
* Maintain a well-ordered filing system, stationery replenishment and personnel file management.
Key Skills / Qualifications
Experience as a Financial Administrator, excellent customer‑service skills and a friendly manner both face‑to‑face and over the phone. Organised, detail‑oriented, able to build strong relationships with residents, families and internal/external teams. Dedicated, efficient, capable of handling a varied workload, and a caring attitude is essential.
