About The Role The Director of Professional Services & Integrations is responsible for the management and ongoing evolution of Worldpay’s SMBi professional services and integration functions, covering implementation, activation, and product support for merchants using Access, Corporate Gateway, and Worldpay eCommerce digital payment products. The role ensures merchants are implemented and activated quickly, seamlessly, and with minimal friction, and continue to receive reliable, expert support once live. A key responsibility is to drive commercial value creation — ensuring the function operates efficiently, developing professional service propositions that generate value whilst positioning delivery excellence as a source of competitive differentiation. The Director will also bring market knowledge and best practice to strengthen the operating model, embedding a culture of learning, efficiency, and innovation across the team. What You’ Own Functional Leadership Lead and coordinate implementation, activation, and support functions to deliver high-quality technical services to merchants. Continually review and refine the structure and operating model to meet evolving business and customer needs. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Implementation Services Oversee delivery of both complex and simple merchant integrations (APIs, plugins, and platform connections). Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, predictably, and to defined technical and service standards. Activation Streamline onboarding and hand-off processes to enable merchants to transact quickly and confidently. Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to improve speed-to-value for merchants and Worldpay Product Support Maintain a responsive, expert support function for live merchants using Access, Corporate Gateway, WP eCommerce and integrated payments. Ensure timely issue resolution and proactive feedback loops to product and engineering. Support the wider team in cross promoting of newer products when they come to market, so merchants become aware of our best in breed solutions at point of service Commercial Value Creation Develop, price, and manage new professional service offerings that deliver measurable merchant and Worldpay value. Introduce scalable commercial models aligned to merchant complexity and value creation. Partner with sales on complex and corporate opportunities to provide credible technical delivery and integration plans. Identify operational efficiencies and automation opportunities that enhance value creation and scale. Market Insight & Best Practice Bring external market understanding, benchmarking, and best practice to refine delivery and support models. Apply learning from industry peers and competitors to improve scalability, efficiency, and customer experience. Foster a learning culture within the team to ensure continuous skill development and innovation. Operational Excellence Maintain clear KPIs across delivery, support, and commercial contribution. Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams. Ensure governance, reporting, and risk management processes support consistent performance and improvement. What You Bring Proven leadership experience in professional services, technical project delivery, or product support within SaaS, fintech, or payments. Strong understanding of digital payment ecosystems, APIs, eCommerce platforms, and integration methodologies. Demonstrated success in commercialising service delivery functions and developing chargeable service offerings. Experience leading technical integration and support operations across multiple product lines. Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across commercial, product, and engineering teams. Data-driven, analytical approach to performance management and process improvement.
