Audit Senior – Bournemouth
Our client, a highly regarded and growing accountancy firm based in Bournemouth, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their expanding Audit Team.

Role
The successful candidate will work as part of an established audit team delivering statutory audit and assurance assignments across a varied portfolio of clients including large corporate groups, owner‑managed businesses, and charities.
* Assisting on statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Supporting the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements
* Working with clients ranging from SMEs to large corporate groups with turnovers up to £500m
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting and mentoring junior trainees within the team
* Collaborating closely with Managers, Qualified staff, and Partners across the firm

Team & Environment
The Bournemouth Audit Team currently consists of approximately 35 staff ranging from trainees through to Partners. The team works collaboratively across a broad client portfolio and maintains a strong culture centred around development, teamwork, and high‑quality client service.
The wider office provides accounting, audit, tax, VAT, and advisory services to both UK and international clients, including AIM‑listed businesses, large corporate groups, landed estates, and professional practices.
Candidate Requirements
* Be studying ACA or ACCA
* Have previous experience within an audit and accounts role
* Possess strong technical and organisational skills
* Demonstrate a proactive and professional approach
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be commercially aware with a strong focus on client service
* Be a positive and enthusiastic team player
* It would also be beneficial, although not essential, to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to client sites when required
