Overview
This role is for a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physio to work across the Moving and Handling team, carrying out risk assessments for disabled children and adults.
Responsibilities
* Carry out functional assessments for complex bespoke equipment and adaptations
* Complete major adaptation assessments to provide safe access to sleeping, bathing, toileting facilities and the property
* Complete moving and handling risk assessments, produce moving and handling plans and facilitate training for family and paid carers
* Assess for seating, bathing and toilet equipment, completing comprehensive risk assessments for care agencies and families
Qualifications
* BSc Hons Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration
* Essential Car User – hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work
* Enhanced DBS check required
* References 3 years’ history
* Proof of right to work in the UK
