The ideal candidate will have: Part-qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience Strong IT skills and confidence using financial systems Good analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly The ability to work well in a fast-paced and evolving environment Your Responsibilities Always: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines Support the production of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records Assist with VAT returns, payroll processing, and other statutory filings to ensure compliance Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis Often: Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key trends and performance insights Support analysis of margins, cash flow, and cost control to aid decision-making Identify opportunities to improve processes within the finance function Work with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business activity Assist with project accounting and cost tracking across the business Occasionally: Support the implementation of new systems or improvements to existing finance processes Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and banks when required Assist with financial planning for business initiatives and growth projects Contribute to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior management Never: Park anywhere other than your free on-site space Avoid dancing in the rain unless you feel like it Ref(18862)
