Elite US Law Firm – London
I’m currently partnered with a top-tier US law firm to recruit a Corporate M&A Associate (4+ PQE) for their market-leading London practice. This is a standout opportunity to join a team known for its involvement in some of the most complex, high-value, and strategically significant transactions in the UK and across global markets.
About the Role
As part of this exceptional transactional team, you will play a key role across the full lifecycle of public and private M&A deals, working closely with partners and senior lawyers on headline matters. You will be deeply involved in the structuring and execution of cross-border transactions, including advising on the application of the UK Takeover Code and Listing Rules for public company deals.
The role includes drafting and negotiating core corporate documents—such as SPAs, offer documents, circulars, joint venture agreements, disclosure schedules, and NDAs—as well as preparing documentation for listed companies involved in high-stakes corporate activity.
You will take responsibility for managing complex workstreams, coordinating legal and commercial due diligence processes, analysing key risks, and presenting clear, concise advice to clients and internal teams. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas—finance, tax, regulatory, and antitrust—to deliver integrated and commercially aligned advice.
This is a position where you will have genuine client exposure, the opportunity to build strong internal and external relationships, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to some of the most exciting transactions in the market. The team places a strong emphasis on collaboration, high-quality work, and early responsibility, making this an ideal environment for someone looking to accelerate their experience and develop into a trusted adviser on complex, cross-border deals.
