Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter within the machine tool manufacturing industry? If yes, read on.

We are excited to share an opportunity with a forward-thinking engineering company that is on the lookout for an experienced Machine Tool Fitter.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in high-precision environments and wants to utilise their engineering expertise to build automated machinery and machine tools to an exceptionally high standard.


The Role - Machine Tool Engineer:

1. High-quality assembly of a wide variety of automation machinery.
2. Building from schematic and/or drawings.
3. Ability to alter and fabricate parts as required.
4. Building complete machinery from start to finish.
5. Occasional opportunities to work onsite.


Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Machine Tool Fitter:

1. Extensive experience in machine tool fitting or fitting of machinery.
2. Strong understanding and experience of complex mechanical systems.
3. The ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high standards.
4. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Motivated and an excellent team player.
6. Ability to commute to the LE8 area.


The Package - Mechanical Fitter / Machine Tool Fitter:

1. Basic rate up to £25 per hour.
2. Excellent progression opportunities.
3. Overtime available daily.
