Join our Community Physiotherapy Team in Paignton and Brixham. This role offers varied, fast‑paced, and highly rewarding work within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Support rehabilitation across Paignton and Brixham, working with patients in their own homes, care homes, and community hospital settings.
* Provide daily care and support of delegated patients, escalating concerns to appropriate professionals.
* Implement treatment and care under the guidance of a registered professional, including dressings, injections, and monitoring.
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and record activity on required clinical databases.
* Work independently and autonomously, providing assessment, support, care, treatment and advice to individuals within established protocols.
* Plan and organise your day to prioritise patient needs and optimise time spent face‑to‑face delivering care.
* Adhere to local and national policies, statutory and legislative frameworks, and local lone‑working procedures.
* Take part in service development activities to enhance the range and scope of services provided to patients.
* Contribute to the improvement of services and make constructive changes to your own work within agreed timescales.
* Maintain any equipment loaned to you in good condition and report defects or concerns promptly.
* Assist with the induction of new team members, demonstrating working practices and procedures.
* Use IT competently for data capture, client records and activity recording.
* Apply knowledge of data protection legislation and implications of consent and data sharing.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Established support worker ready to advance in their career, or relevant qualifications to join as a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner.
* If starting as a Trainee Assistant Practitioner you will begin at Band 3 and be promoted to Band 4 upon successful completion of your foundation degree and required training.
* Must be able to travel efficiently around the Bay area to perform duties.

Working Hours & Location
8.30 – 4.30 service in Paignton & Brixham with bank‑holiday rota coverage as required. Predominantly based at Kings Ash House, Paignton.
