Responsibilities for the job role:
* Operating mobile and fixed plant.
* Hand sorting and grading of scrap metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous.
* Checking loads for any quality and raising any issues to the site management team.
* Carrying out scrap metal collections from customers premises ensuring a high level of service.
* Ensuring outgoing loads have been checked for quality and payloads maximised.
* Willing to work as part of a team, ensuring all works are done safely.
* High level of housekeeping required at all times.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures (including but not limited to) those specified in the employment handbook, health and safety policy and EMS system.
* Ensure compliance within the operation area with all company procedures, statutory legislation and industry good practice.
Experience / Qualifications / Skills:
* 360 & Forklift experience preferred but not essential as full training provided.
* Must have a full driving Licence.
* Prior waste/recycling or similar process environment highly advantageous.
* Enthusiastic and committed.
* Committed to improving processes and procedures and ability to embrace change as required.
