We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible After School & Holiday Club Assistant to join our team at Andi Pandi's based in Bro Banw School. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Hours and days are flexible, offering a great opportunity for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of play-based activities for children aged 3–11 during after-school hours and school holidays
* Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children
* Engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues
* Help with setting up and tidying away activities and resources
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and club policies at all times
* Participate in team meetings and training as required
Essential Requirements:
* Willingness to complete relevant training (e.g., Safeguarding, First Aid, Food Hygiene)
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to use initiative
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to providing high-quality care and play opportunities
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
* Welsh language skills (spoken and/or written)
* Previous experience working with children in a similar setting
* A qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or similar is highly desirable
