This role is hands-on and varied — you will be sorting and processing scrap metal, plastics, and other recyclable materials, as well as operating and maintaining machinery. You will need to be confident in stopping machines safely, clearing blockages, resetting settings, and ensuring smooth operation. The environment is busy, dusty, and noisy, so previous experience in a similar setting — especially in metal recycling — is highly preferred.
