Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. Duties
* Assist in managing daily operations, including food production and service.
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
* Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Provide training and support to team members in culinary techniques and customer service.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and improve service offerings.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Previous experience in kitchen management or related roles is highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience as a barista or in hotel settings would be an advantage.
* A passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
