SAP SuccessFactors Lead Functional Consultant - 6 Month Contact - £700 per Day (Inside IR35) - Fully Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Lead Functional Consultant with a strong focus on Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to join our global HR & Payroll client. This role is ideal for a hands-on functional lead who can drive end-to-end ECP solution design, configuration, and delivery within a complex international environment.
You will act as the primary functional expert, leading workshops, guiding the client through best practices, and ensuring seamless integration between SuccessFactors modules and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors ECP.
* Work closely with client stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
* Conduct workshops, blueprinting sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth data migration, integration, and system performance.
* Provide guidance on best practices for HR and payroll processes in a global environment.
* Manage system testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
* Support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing across project teams.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years’ experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant, with at least 2+ years in ECP.
* Proven track record leading ECP implementations or complex global payroll integrations.
* Strong understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central, time management, and payroll processes.
* Experience with integration between ECP and SAP HCM / third-party payroll systems.
* Solid knowledge of HR compliance and statutory payroll requirements (UK or multi-country preferred).
* Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
* Self-starter able to work independently in a remote setup.
