Microbiologist / Scientist – Yeast Molecular Biology
Our client is an innovative synthetic biotech company developing advanced microbial platforms to unlock new bioproduction possibilities.
Using a large and diverse library of unconventional host species alongside AI-driven selection, the team identifies the optimal production system for proteins, small molecules, and glycans—delivering functional results where standard models fall short.
They are now looking to hire a Microbiologist / Scientist with in-depth wet-lab experience and strong expertise across different yeast species.
Main requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience of hands-on wet-lab microbiology experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in yeast molecular biology
* Experience working across multiple yeast species, ideally including non-conventional yeasts
* Background in strain development, molecular cloning, transformation, and characterization
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment
* Interest in synthetic biology, microbial platforms, and next-generation bioproduction
