Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Completing corporation tax returns and computations
* Handling personal tax returns
* Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns as needed
* Liaising directly with clients, answering queries, and providing practical advice
* Assisting with ad hoc assignments and supporting junior team members
What you will need:
* ACA or ACCA qualification
* Previous experience in a similar UK public practice role (such as Accountant, Accounts Senior, Client Manager, or Practice Accountant)
* Strong working knowledge of statutory accounts preparation across multiple entity types
* Confidence in both personal and corporate tax compliance
* Comfortable with bookkeeping and VAT work
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal directly with clients
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently
