Raise quarterly invoices to for the agreed revenue to be claimed from our commissioner. To adopt a coaching style in the management and development of individuals and the team. Maximise income for customers and minimise rent arrears and bad debt by providing early interventions, advice and support in relation to rent payment, welfare benefits, budgeting and available grants or funding Work with teams across the Directorate to ensure the tenant journey is clear, seamless and streamlined and encourage customer access to services digitally wherever possible. Highlight emerging issues within communities and on estates that affect newly arrived refugee’s integration and tenancy sustainability and work with internal departments of Ongo and external agencies to address these issues. To develop and maintain excellent partnership working both internally and externally To ensure that all breaches of tenancy conditions relating to condition of property or garden, neighbour nuisance and access for compliance testing are dealt with effectively. Support excellent business performance by contributing towards the achievement of the Directorates targets and overall company aims and providing reports on performance delivery, taking appropriate action to address any potential performance shortfalls Support excellent business performance by contributing towards the achievement of the Directorates targets and overall company aims by achieving individual and team targets Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Tenancy Services Manager Ensure the delivery, implementation and monitoring of the contracts. Creation of annual reports and monitoring for Ongo board, Migration Yorkshire, Home Office and DWP. Strengthening and maintaining professional relationships with third sector organisations such Migration Yorkshire and The City of Sanctuary. Oversee the legal status of clients, ensuring they have the appropriate status and access to public fund/health. Co-ordinate a meet and greet service, a triage process, needs/risk assessments and the creation of support plans using a coaching approach. To work with other partners and agencies to put in place multi-agency to ensure we don’t exhaust the same schools and GPs by housing newly arrived refugees in the same area. To source accommodation where appropriate and ensure that their homes are available and ready to live in as soon as the Refugees arrive in the UK To provide advice and support to enable Refugees to access services including health, schools, adult social care, training, employment opportunities etc. To provide advice and support to Refugees on sustaining their homes, e.g. accessing welfare benefits, employment opportunities, applying for disabled adaptations (if relevant), signposting to debt advice and coaching in lifestyle skills. Working with the Tenancy Officer and Community Resolution Team to resolve incidents of anti-social behaviour in a timely manner. To act as an advocate for vulnerable Refugees with external agencies to help them to improve their physical and mental health and achieve wellbeing outcomes. To recruit and mentor volunteers to provide peer support to Refugees where required Attend regular meetings with Migration Yorkshire, ensuring that you keep up to date with all Home Office changes in relation to Refugees entering the UK. To formulate plans and strategies to ensure outcomes are obtained for Refugees and produce management reports that identify issues to be addressed and progress to date Support families to apply for legal documents required including biometric cards, driving licences, National Insurance numbers, registering the births of their children and after five years of living in the UK completing all legal documents to obtain indefinite leave to remain in the Country.
