Job Title: Logistics and Sales Administrator
Opportunity for an organized and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Essex.
Purpose of the Role
Responsible for all aspects of logistics and sales administration, acting as the first point of contact with key customers and ANZCO NZ for order management, shipping details, and information requests. The role aims to support the Logistics, Commercial, and General Managers by handling data management and accuracy of sales and logistics information, and covering for the Logistics Manager during absences. The candidate will be an active team member.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Administration
o Verify import documentation accuracy and liaise with ANZCO NZ to correct errors.
o Request PINs and coordinate bookings with hauliers.
o Send shipment reports and handle customer inquiries.
o Update logistics logs with ETAs and dispatch details.
o Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers.
o Input sales data into systems and confirm with customers.
o Handle customer-specific sales tasks and important documents like specs and certifications.
o Manage customer purchase and supply chain systems.
o Create and distribute stock sheets and coordinate onboarding of new customers.
2. General Administration
o Manage office landline and courier samples.
o Oversee holiday calendar, office supplies, and expense filing.
o Potentially manage smaller customer accounts.
3. Other Duties
o Perform additional tasks as assigned by management within your skills.
Person Specification
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with strong organizational and administrative skills. Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and flexibility to support a small team are essential.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in logistics or sales administration (essential).
* Knowledge of the industry and current practices (desirable).
* Experience in sales (desirable).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (essential).
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines (essential).
* Effective communication skills (essential).
* Flexible work ethic and team player (essential).
