FinTech RS is working with a well-known business, based North of Aberdeen, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Project Accountant. This role will report directly to the Management Accountant, with a dotted line to the Project Director, and will provide accurate and detailed project-related financial information including. Key duties: To support the project teams in estimating, compiling, monitoring, and reporting project costs; guaranteeing the accuracy and correctness of the data; preparing monthly data (revenue and project profit) for management accounts; and helping to spot and analyse overruns, discrepancies, and monthly variances. Take part in project meetings and record financial data to support forecasts and monthly reporting. Participation in the creation of the weekly flash revenue prediction and the upkeep of current completion cost estimates. Create predictions and monthly financial reports for project teams. Monitor sales invoicing to ensure timely and accurate billing for projects Help the management accountant with the monthly management accounts' work in progress and cost to completion. Ensure that data from sales orders is updated and included in the company's forecasting system. Candidates should have experience of working within a finance-focused role, ideally having undertaken various financial analysis duties.
