To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As The Deputy Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include
* Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
* You will be the home’s nurse expert and your role will combine utilising your nursing skills with managerial and leadership duties.
* You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it is vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far‑reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
* Care plan development and assessments.
* Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
* Good clinical skills.
* Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
