Senior Strategy Manager at Flutter Entertainment
Location: London / Leeds / Dublin | Hybrid work – 2 days per week in office
Role Purpose
As part of the Strategic Change and Transformation team within the Group COO function, the Senior Strategy Manager will work with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Group to assess, shape and facilitate the design and implementation of our key strategic initiatives.
Accountabilities
* Owns complex initiatives, shaping and framing cross‑functional problems with senior leaders.
* Develops strategic evaluations to determine preferred options and solutions across strategy design and operating model engagements.
* Designs and facilitates workshops with senior stakeholders, collating data to determine future requirements and strategic choices.
* Conducts research and provides thought leadership across engagements focused on Flutter’s strategic priorities.
* Creates consolidated workshop outputs to guide stakeholders in making informed decisions with appropriate detail.
* Supports business case development for strategy approval.
* Influences senior leaders on critical decisions and recommends courses of action.
* Ensures effective communication of the direction to relevant stakeholders.
* Tailors information and data for the appropriate audience.
* Produces high‑quality, Ex‑Co ready outputs, proposals and status updates.
* Assists the Associate Director of Strategy Partnering or other senior leaders to achieve goals.
* Acts as an ambassador for the Strategic Change and Transformation team across the group.
Key Skills
* 8+ years’ experience in a strategic role within a fast‑paced, global organisation and/or management consulting.
* Strong experience in strategy design, operating model design and organisational design.
* Excellent research, analytical, problem‑solving and numerical skills.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to assimilate new knowledge quickly.
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills at senior levels.
* Excellent relationship building and collaborative working with internal teams and partners.
* Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
