We're currently looking for a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
Main Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will work collaboratively across our Customer Service Team, acting as the primary point of contact for our customers and representing the face of Tarmac. Your role will be varied and impactful, including but not limited to:
1. Taking full ownership of customer enquiries and orders via telephone and email, ensuring resolution from initial contact through to completion
2. Delivering a consistently high level of customer care, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional
3. Performing accurate data entry and sales processing, maintaining data integrity throughout your daily tasks
4. Collaborating with team members to clarify information, resolve issues, and share insights
5. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services
6. Maintaining accurate customer records within the CRM system
7. Communicating regularly with internal departments such as Finance, Depot, and Purchasing to ensure seamless service delivery
8. Supporting the wider team in delivering in-demand products and contributing to business profitability
9. Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in your account base, introducing new products and technologies
10. Developing strong product knowledge and staying informed about market trends through training, research, and self-study
The role of Customer Service Coordinator is a Monday - Friday role with a rostered Saturday AM in rotation- after successful training the role is open to an element of rostered hybrid working across the team

17. Enjoy an extremely fast paced; team-based environment
The role is based our Snodland office in Kent and is commutable from Maidstone, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Hempstead, Sevenoaks, Orpington, Swanley, Dartford, Bromley, Tonbridge, Gravesend, Rainham, Swanley, Sittingbourne and the surrounding areas.
