Fantastic role just in for a Collection Van Driver based around the Mitcham area. We are looking for a Van Driver to join a dynamic Home Removals company. Must have minimum 1 years experience PERMANENT ROLE! SALARY - £29,000 per year MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 7am-3:30pm 40 HOURS A WEEK Holiday : 28 days Removals experience desired Please call Nikki - 0203 973 1111 Must have great customer service experience as you are the face for our customer. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Carry out removals to a high standard, in accordance with usual driver/porter duties Carry out a 15 minute vehicle inspection every morning Manage, motivate and delegate to other members of your team on the job in a confident manner Deal with customers on the job and report back to the office where necessary, including but not limited to, any damages, key delays, staff issues Resolve any issues on the job and report back to directors / the office Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly Ensure vehicles are tidied in between job and at the end of the day. Ensure all daily vehicle checks are completed Ensure daily checks are done on tool boxes, equipment and any purchasing requests reported Report any crew lateness, misbehaviour, or problems in your team REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license with no more than 3 points Good knowledge of how to carry out a removal, stack, pack, dismantle & re-assemble furniture Able to direct a team; authoritative, but also able to take instructions Good level of common sense with the ability to problem solve Great work ethic with genuine care and passion for the company Great customer service Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks Due to the nature of the industry start and finish times do vary each day Apply Now Top Jobs Group acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
