Qualifications
* Outstanding team management skills
* Experience in a similar property/market
* Strong knowledge of HR practices and a good financial acumen
* At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position
* Knowledge of rooms management and food and beverage operations
* The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team to achieve performance and operational targets; a hands-on approach to operations is essential in this small team
* Relocation to the area is required
* Sponsorship of overseas applicants with no right to work in the UK is not available
* Offer of employment is subject to satisfactory reference checks including consent to a DBS check
Responsibilities
* Planning and implementing longer-term strategies to enhance the service offered and potential for the business.
* Regularly communicate performance to the Company, highlighting successes and risks and taking action accordingly.
* Control costs across departments, encourage proper stock ordering and minimise waste.
* Manage, develop and support all employees to consistently achieve the highest hospitality standards.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety and COSHH legislation.
* Handle employee relations issues professionally and legally.
* Coordinate selling initiatives across areas of the business and monitor effectiveness.
