Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent, Sous Chef in an established restaurant based in Henley on Thames.
This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings on split/straight shifts. (Set Mondays off as Restaurant is closed)
The role is paying up to £35000pa-£38000pa depending on experience.
*Live in option available for a fee, but not on site so would need to cycle, drive or get bus.
1. Kitchen is operational between 10am-10pm

2. Preparing meals for restaurant and functions using seasonal produce and products
3. Running service in Head Chef's absence
4. Manage kitchen operation, including health & safety, hygiene
The Person
5. Already a Chef looking for a new challenge in a busy restaurant
6. Experience of working with fresh food to a high standard
7. Capable and able to work unsupervised
8. Flexibility in working hours.
Skills and experience that we are looking for are as follows
9. Excellent time keeping
10. Practical kitchen skills i.e. able to demonstrate knowledge and experience using tools such as kitchen knives and machinery
11. Good food knowledge and a desire to give your best to every dish
12. Good communication skills when liaising with staff members as well as customers and external contractors
13. A keen eye for organisation and cleanliness
14. At least 2 years' experience within a fast paced, professional kitchen
