Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a smooth administrative process within our practice. This position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet one-on-one with patients following their appointment with the dentist.
* Clearly present and explain treatment plans, procedures, and associated fees to patients in a supportive, professional manner.
* Answer questions and address concerns to build trust and confidence in recommended treatments.
* Discuss and offer various financial options, including payment plans and financing
* Follow up with patients who have not scheduled treatment to encourage case acceptance.
* Track treatment acceptance rates and collaborate with the clinical team to meet performance goals.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the services offered by the practice to effectively communicate value and benefits.
* Ensure all patient consent forms and documentation are completed and properly stored.
* Coordinate with front desk/reception for seamless patient scheduling and follow-ups.
* Stay up to date on policies, dental procedures, and patient financing options.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a dental, orthodontic, or healthcare sales role preferred.
* Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
* High attention to detail, especially when discussing plans and finances.
* Proficiency in dental software (Dentally) and Microsoft Office.
* Comfortable discussing high-value treatment plans and financial commitments.
* Understanding of dental terminology and treatment workflows is essential.
Working Environment:
* Consultation takes place in a private office separate from the reception area.
* Collaborative environment with both clinical and administrative teams.
Salary
* Basic hourly rate + Monthly performance related commission
